While I worked at Innovative Signage it became clear that while we had a logo, we did not have a brand identity. Because of this, we were often using the logo in inconsistent ways.

As design team lead, I took on the project of creating a brand identity for the company.

HISTORY

To begin creating the brand identity of Innovative Signage I started with looking at the history of the 30+ year old company. What made it special? What made it “Innovative”?

CORE VALUES

Through interviewing management and those employees that had been part of the company for many years, I complied a list of core values that I believed would resonate with who Innovative Signage was as a company.

MISSION & VISION

From this collective data, I compiled a mission statement and vision that spoke about who is Innovative Signage and what does it aspire to be.

LOGO

With the brand identity coming into place, I felt that it was necessary to solidify the elements of our logo and how it could be used.

COLOR & TYPE

With the logo guidelines set out, it became clear that I needed to clarify what colors and fonts could be used when representing the company.

MOCKUPS

To round out the brand identity, I created some product mockups of how the brand identity can be used.
